For those of you who missed yesterday’s very special Midday i’ve attached the link below. I was thrilled to be on the panel again joining the lovely Elaine Crowley and panelists Aisling Hurley CEO of Breast Cancer Ireland, Paula McClean Patient Ambassador of Breast Cancer Ireland, Aileen Hickey and the inspirational Emma Hannigan via phone to discuss Breast Cancer.
I really believe that by talking about Breast Cancer, we can help others become more aware of what this disease really entails. We can also show it is not a life sentence and hopefully get the message across on the importance of regularly checking your breasts from an early age.
I can’t over state how Breast Cancer dosen’t discriminate it won’t care if you are in your 20’s, if you are fit, if you have small boobs or if cancer dosent run in your family so your best form of defence is knowlege. Knowledge is power and by being Breast Aware and regularly checking your breasts you get to know your own normal so if something does change you will be able to act swiftly.
