Its now just over one week since I had my top up and final EpiBrow treatment at NuEssence. For those of you who aren’t familiar with my eyebrow adventure to date here is my previous post where I explained the treatment and results of the first step in the process. http://www.breastfriendsireland.com/2016/07/no-more-bad-brow-days-for-me/
EpiBrow is a treatment which gives a natural brow look, it’s a semi-permanent procedure which can last between 12 – 18 months and unlike other procedures it does not rely upon any natural hair being present. Using a specially designed micro-blade, natural 3D hair strokes are placed under the epidermis. Specially formulated pigments are used to recreate the natural eyebrow colour.
So it had been a month since I had my first EpiBrow treatment. The area had fully healed and my brows had faded in colour which is pretty normal after the healing process has taken place. Before I had my second treatment I had a consultation with Joanie ( the lady who has created my lovely brows). She checked if I was happy with the results of the first treatment and asked if there were any changes I would like to make for example make the brows thicker. I did opt to make the brows thicker as I do like quite defined brows. This is down to personal choice and at NuEssence they will really listen to you and give you the results you are looking for.
From start to finish my appointment was 1hr – 1hr 30 mins. As I said in my previous post it wasn’t particularly painful as I have had a lot of girls asking did it hurt. Its a little bit uncomfortable but not bad at all. My eyebrows were quite dark afterwards ( which I liked) but after the healing has taken place they lightened up.
Today is day 9 and they are fully healed. I just love them. Instead of having patchy uneven brows I now have full perfectly shaped eyebrows to frame my face. I just couldn’t go back to pencilling and powdering. Also during the past week when my brows were in the healing stage I have to say they didn’t look bad or anything near it just slightly dry. Which was really only noticeable to me everyone else was complimenting them.
If any of you girls are interested in having EpiBrow treatment, Margaret in NuEssence has kindly offered anyone who mentions Breast Friends a 10% discount. If you are on the fence and would like to find out more book yourself an appointment and get more information about this treatment. I can honestly say its one of the best things I’ve ever done and I will definitely be returning to NuEssence for a top up when the time comes.
