For a while now there was a brand catching my eye on Instagram. Its colourful packaging, natural ingrediants and rave reviews how could Bryt Skincare not draw me in. Then a couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to be sent one of the products in their range to try out. The product I have been using is the Cleanse – Foaming Facial Cleanser.
My skin can be so tempremental, I go through stages when it is radiant glowing and my make up just glides on. Then I have my bad skin days when it feels dull and congested.
I was quite excited to try out this cleanser, the first thing I loved about it was that it was a foamy cleanser anyone of you who read my posts regularly will know I love products that foam. Before using the cleanser I removed my make up. It is recommended to remove you make up using BRYT Remove ahead of using the cleanser. I didn’t have BRYT Remove I just used my normal cleanser. I tend to use it first thing in the morning when I am obviously make up free. When i wake up first thing I try not to use harsh cleansers on my skin, some mornings I will just wash my face with water alone and tone it with some rose water. This cleanser however makes my skin feel clean fresh and most importantly nurtured. Last thing at night after I remove my make up while in the shower I wear such a lot of make up. However when I have removed my make up i use the cleanser again, I go to bed with my skin feeling lighter, less weighed down by the impurities it has come in contact with through out the day.
One thing which has struck me about this brand and especially this product is it could be used during chemo. Now girls when you are having your Breast Cancer Treament and in the throws of hospital visits and stays I think it really takes its toll on your skin. I remember when I would get home from hospital I would head straight for the shower. My skin always just felt icky, I think it could be a mixture of my intense FEAR of hospitals and the air in the hospital being so hot and clammy sure no wonder my skin felt congested. I think this cleanser would be great during chemo just to give your skin that really clean feel. Also its not a perfumed product so really easy to use when feeling ill as over perfumed products can turn your stomach a bit when going through treatment.
I can’t wait to try other products in the range and have no hesitation in recommending this brand to you guys. Oh and another things I loved about this product is that there are no parabens, sulphates, petrochemicals, phthalates, silicones or GM ingredients and all of their formulae are both vegan and cruelty free. Also they do not use Palm Oil in any of their products, we all know who evil Palm Oil is!!!!
I also like the vibe of this brand, the packaging is bright and uplifting. When i first opened the box my cleanser came in written on the lid was “Bryt Skincare for Bright Young Things” , I liked that ! Then the next part of the lid read – “Remember…. take lots of exercise and sleep well…..” then the next part of the lid read “Remember …… A healthy diet and lots of water ……. ” how cool is that its a touch i just really liked.
