So I turned 41 years old this week , do I mind clocking up mileage not at all I am thankful for everyday I open my eyes, however my skin getting old and tired is NOT an option !!! This year started off badly for me if I’m honest I was pestered by several doses one after the other – the flu, bronchitis, chest infection, sinus infection it was never-ending. The toll it all took on my skin was just unreal. I felt my skin was dehydrated, my pores were enlarged and my skin was basically fatigued. To put a little pep in my step I booked a facial in Clear Skin www.clearskin.ie , after a consultation with Ciara (remember this girls name if you are booking an appointment me and her go years back and she knows her stuff) where she inspected my skin, listened to my concerns and then she recommended I use ZO Skin Health products. For me she specifically recommended I use the Phase II Anti-Aging program at €278 it was a bit of an investment but if it was to work in my opinion it would be well worth the money.
Now that was back in early February and I am about to invest in my next batch of the products. I can honestly hand on my heart say I am blown away by the results of these products. Looking back at what these products promise to achieve I can honestly say they lived up to their promises. Without make up my skin tone is more even and flawless, even on Saturday when I was getting my make-up touched up by a MUA she remarked on how clear my complexion was and that was after a very long day of activity.
One thing I had started suffering was hormonal spots on my nose every few weeks, they were angry and harsh, since I started using ZO these are not as bad, the spots aren’t as angry or as big. Yes i still get break outs but not to the extent I was. As far as I know you cannot just buy these products online or walk into a shop and buy them you must got to a clinic they are stocked in and let a professional evaluate your face and recommend what you need. I certainly wouldn’t recommend you choosing for yourself which of these products you should use as they are a powerful product and should be used as instructed by a trained professional. On a side note Tom has been using this range for years different products but as advised by a professional, he has been raving about this range for years and to be honest I didn’t pay any attention to him …… lol x

The Products & how I used them
Offects Exfoliating Cleanser – I use this after I remove my make-up there are little beads in this cleanser so it gently exfoliates while cleansing, my skin feels really clean after using this and totally free from product. I use this morning and night.
Offects Exfoliating Polish – this is a more intense Exfoliating product which I only use once maybe twice a week at a push. It’s just a really good exfoliator, my skin feels silky smooth after it but I use all my self-control to limit myself to once or twice a week because any more would be too harsh.
Offects TE-Pads Acne Pore Treatment – If I feel my hormonal nose spotty situation erupting I give my T-Zone a lash of these. I also do notice they have a tightening effect on my pores. The frequency by which I use this product is based on my intuition I will just know when I need it usually if my skin is feeling oily or congested
Ossential Daily Power Defence – this is the daily moisturiser my only negative was I wish it was a 50ml bottle rather than 30ml. My make-up glides on to my face and these days I very rarely have a bad skin day.
Ossential Growth Factor Serum Plus – the name on this alone made me think it was going to do great things while I slept – it’s basically my night cream and has a satin like finish
Oclipse Sunscreen + Primer SPF 30 Protection – I apply this after the Daily Power Defense, it’s an excellent Primer giving my skin a flawless appearance even before I apply my foundation. I have been known to leave the house with only this on my skin ….. and now that’s big new for me.
Here are some before and after pictures, the quality isn’t great and I am raging with myself for not getting more photo’s . The bottom 2 photos were taken just before I started using the products and the top were taken recently. One thing that jumped out at me was that in the bottom photo my jaw line doesn’t look as smooth as it does now. I had one particular acne scar which i think in the top photo can not longer be noticed. And it’s not just in the photo its in real life too but I only realised this when I was writing this post.
